Sreenivas Narayanan

Sreenivas Narayan is Technical and Compliance Director for India, the Middle East, and South Asia Pacific at Siderise Group and is responsible for developing and delivering the technical strategy for the business in the region. His experience in the passive fire protection industry lies in developing business in new markets, promoting the technology of fire containment in modern building construction, and undertaking comprehensive fire testing programs for the for 15 years. He has collaborated with over 57 cladding manufacturers to complete more than 200 large scale system façade tests. As an avid advocate of advancing fire safety to build the safest buildings possible, he works with architects, contractors, and developers to ensure code compliance and encourages the adoption of fire safety standards and practices in countries that lack regulation. Sreenivas believes that all stakeholders involved in building construction should aspire to get it right the first-time round. By connecting people to the information they need and sharing knowledge to build collective intelligence, he hopes to leave a legacy that will inspire future generations. Seeking to advance his knowledge and understanding of fire safety engineering, he is also an active member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), and the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) and CTBUH.
