Bio
Tim Snelson is a Structural Director at Arup. He is recognised across the industry as a champion of low-carbon design, through timber and retrofit projects. He has designed several pioneering timber structures for housing, commercial and media buildings. He also has an extensive track-record in high-profile retrofit of commercial, cultural and historic structures. He has published influential papers and books, including Re-thinking Timber Buildings and The Screen New Deal (BAFTA), and lectures at Bath University and UCL.
