Graduating from Sint-Lukas in Ghent and later pursuing a master's degree at MIT in the US, he honed his skills while working with Bruce Graham at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Stefaan's career path led him back to Jaspers-Eyers, where he embraced projects like the MG Tower. His approach centers on architectural integration, where buildings harmonize with their environments and users are engaged in transformative spaces. Stefaan's architectural ethos aligns with his role as a member of the Royal Commission on Monuments and Sites in Brussels and as a BREEAM Accredited Professional, reflecting his commitment to sustainable design.
