Shin Lin Kok

A building enthusiast and graduate of Heriot-Watt University, she embarked on her career in the construction industry immediately after high school through the educational training program sponsored by Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (SunCon). During her tenure at SunCon, she was exposed to a diverse range of projects, including university buildings, high-rise residential complexes, convention centers, and highway concessionaires. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and more than a decade specializing as a façade consultant, she has contributed to several notable projects such as Monash University, KLCC Convention Centre, Rihan Heights in Abu Dhabi, 1000 Trees Shanghai, and the sustainable award winning EPF Head Quarter at Kwasa Damansara. She holds a firm belief that façades, as the visual signature of a building, must embody versatility in design, constructability, and functionality. Additionally, she advocates for sustainable design practices that enhance both the building itself and the surrounding community.
