Sean O’Brien

Sean O’Brien is a senior principal and head of the Building Technology group in the NYC office of SGH., a national building design and consulting firm. He specializes in building science and building envelope performance. He has investigated and designed repairs for a wide variety of building types. He is a frequent presenter on the topic of building enclosures and has over 50 industry publications on related topics. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and is a licensed professional engineer in 16 states. Sean is a member of ASHRAE, the NYC AIA chapter, and co-chair of the NYC Building Enclosure C
