Paul O’Connell

Paul O'Connell RA, LEED AP, thinks architecture is about the user experience and shaping spaces that create exciting built environments. Faculty, researchers, and students each require a building that performs slightly differently while overlapping around a central academic function. Paul enjoys the process of understanding those needs and developing spaces that weave together the flow of teaching, research, and interaction. In 20 years of exploring academic and research space solutions, he has found that he thrives by sharing his ideas and learning from others, be it colleagues, clients, or consultants. This interest in learning and exploration helps him create stimulating and inventive environments that foster a positive user experience.
