Bio
Born in Portugal in 1986, Miguel Torres studied architecture at the Technical University of Lisbon. An exchange year took him to Brazil, where he attended the University of São Paulo and gained his first practical experience. After graduating in Lisbon, he initially worked both for ARX Portugal Arquitectos and as an independent architect in Portugal. In 2012, he moved to Switzerland to take on a post at Marti AG Architekten in the canton of Glarus. Miguel Torres joined Fischer Architekten in 2016, where he assumed the position of project manager in 2019. As of 2023 he became Associate to contribute his expertise in helping shape the company.
