Bio

Since joining Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in 2004, Kate Bojsza has served in design and management roles on many of the firm’s most significant projects. Driven by a passion for design excellence, she is adept at leading large teams of architects and engineers to achieve their best work. From overseeing the transformation of a historic military building on Governors Island into the award-winning Arts Center to managing the highly successful repositioning of 1271 Avenue of the Americas—the former Time & Life Building—Kate is central to the firm’s repositioning practice, which addresses the interrelated issues of asset value, design quality, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint. Kate is co-lead of the firm’s Repositioning | Carbon Retrofit Team. Holding a BArch and a BS in history from Carnegie Mellon University, she is a licensed architect, WELL AP, and LEED Green Associate and recently earned a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University
