Gurmukh Singh Panesar

Gurmukh is the Founder and Principal Architect at Grasp Design Ltd. He is a registered architect with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya and a corporate member of the Architectural Association of Kenya. He received a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Nairobi and has a cumulative experience of over 15 years in architecture and various design related fields such as fine art, arch-viz, interior design, graphic design, and photography. Having experience in these symbiotic fields has enabled him to solve design problems with a broader outlook. He specialises in digital design & manufacturing techniques to create innovative sustainable solutions. He has worked on projects ranging from aviation campuses, hospital masterplans, some of the most complex fit-out projects in Africa and affordable housing policies for governments. He also designed the first LEED Platinum project in Africa.
