Frances Gannon

Frances joined Make in 2004 and has worked in Make’s London, Birmingham and Beijing studios. She has a wide variety of sector experience, with a particular focus on workplace. She has contributed to a number of projects in Birmingham: from the innovative mixed use The Cube, to Make’s masterplan and collection of buildings at Arena Central, including HSBC UK’s headquarters and a hub for the University of Birmingham. Frances is passionate about low-carbon design, research and knowledge-sharing, particularly around embodied carbon and the circular economy. She also leads the studio’s outreach programme, Aspire, and volunteers as a speaker in schools.
