Bio
Duncan Griffin is a registered architect with 32 years of experience. Managing Principal of HDR’s Seattle Studio, he leads a practice focused on bringing regenerative design principles to our clients with projects in health, community, and education markets. A successful outcome for him delivers healthy experiences for building occupants, and serves the community through reduced water use, net positive energy and carbon balanced solutions. His practice has produced leading edge healthcare facilities and innovative design solutions. Duncan regularly presents on these topics, starting with EngineeringGreen 2008, and including the CarbonPositive Summit 2019, GoGreen Seattle 2020, Architecture 2030 Global Teach-in 2020, ULI Fall Conference 2021, CleanMed in 2012, 2014 & 2017, AIA National, and Greenbuild.
