Dr Burak Yilmaz

Dr. Burak Yilmaz is a senior project manager and has been working at MBY since 2011. His field of specialty is the detailed design, and in particular, the performance-based design structures, non-building structures, building envelopes, and tall buildings. He partakes in various projects in Europe, Asia, North & South America, and Africa. Dr. Yilmaz received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering in 2006, and his Masters of Science in Earthquake Engineering in 2008 from Istanbul Technical University. His PhD is on dynamic shear amplification phenomenon of core walls which is directly related with nonlinear seismic behavior of tall buildings. He is a registered professional engineer in The State of New York since 2014. He is a member of ASCE and CTBUH FL Committee.
