Bio
Damien works with Arup in Dubai where he leads their fire team in the Middle East. He is a Chartered Fire Engineer with over 16 years’ experience and is a Professional Member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE). Prior to moving to Dubai, Damien spent the previous 10 years working in Australia and New Zealand. He has experience through all stages of design and construction on a diverse range of projects from large Airport Terminals, shopping malls and office buildings to masterplans and transport infrastructure. Some of Damien’s recent projects include the new Passenger Terminal at Kuwait International Airport, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Japan Pavilion at Expo.
