With an international background, Aulikki Sonntag's professional experience reaches from technical design to executive façade work throughout all project planning phases. She has successfully executed a large variety of façade systems, ranging from high-rise unitized to complex custom design. Pursuing innovative design solutions and high efficiency in performance characterizes her holistic approach to the building envelope. Aulikki Sonntag is working out of Basel-based STATICUS Switzerland Ltd. Her focus is the design and development of project and climate specific facades, using an Interactive Building Process, interfacing Architecture, Energy Design, and Structural Engineering.
