Bio
Ahmed Elnagar is a façade engineer at Buro Happold in Berlin, specialising in computational design and the application of AI in the built environment. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo and an MSc in Structural and Computational Engineering from TU Dresden. Ahmed brings expertise in structural analysis, complemented by his work in developing computational tools and applying machine learning and AI to optimize engineering workflows. At Buro Happold, he contributes to multidisciplinary projects such as the new opera house in Jeddah and façade refurbishments in Berlin, applying computational modelling to optimise structural and thermal performance.
