Testing of curtain walls for seismic capability, mainly inter-storey drift, has been carried out for many curtain walls over the last 20 years

Curtain wall engineers generally do not have the information to analyse a building structure to determine realistic seismic movement dimensions. They have to rely on the structural engineer who usually only quotes code values
